Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Quote requests: your name, email address, phone number, province, city or municipality, the package you're interested in, and any notes you add.
• Clients and projects: contact details, site location and the details of quotes, sales, payments and service visits we handle for you.
• Staff accounts: name, email address, contact number and a securely hashed password.
• Sign in with Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's name, email address and whether that email is verified. See the section below.
• Usage data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) and, where enabled, analytics and advertising tags such as Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel, which use cookies to measure visits to the site.

Sign in with Google

Staff with an existing account may sign in using Google. When you do, we request only your basic profile information: your name, email address and email verification status. We use it for one purpose only: to match your verified Google email to an account that already exists in our system and sign you in.

• We do not create accounts from Google sign-in. If no account matches your email, you are not signed in and nothing is saved.
• We do not store your Google password, access tokens, contacts, files or any other Google data.
• We do not sell, share or transfer information received from Google to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove our access at any time from your Google account permissions.

How we use your information

• To respond to quote requests and prepare estimates, quotes and contracts.
• To install, maintain and support your solar system, including warranty service.
• To let staff sign in and manage their accounts, including password resets.
• To keep the site secure, for example with Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse.
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve it.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (such as hosting, email delivery, file storage and security services) under obligations to protect it, or when required by law.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including warranty periods and legal or accounting requirements. Access is limited to authorised staff, passwords are stored hashed, and the site is served over HTTPS.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, or file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
